Instead of recreating the dense gourmand architecture that made the original Angel revolutionary in 1992, Nova explored a more luminous language built around raspberry, lychee, rose, and modern woods. The composition also became notable for its use of an upcycled Damask rose ingredient, reflecting the industry's growing exploration of innovative and more resource-conscious perfumery techniques while preserving Mugler's tradition of unconventional olfactory construction.
